Welcome to John Howard Society of Ottawa

The John Howard Society of Ottawa is a not-for-profit, charitable organization committed to providing a broad range of evidence-based and outcome-driven community services throughout the Ottawa area. Our organization has a strong history of helping individuals, and families, who are at risk of, or have come into, conflict with the law. Our work includes the provision of prevention and intervention services, as well as advocacy, public education, and community partnerships.

Our diverse client group includes youth and adults, males and females, from a wide cross section of social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds representative of our broader community.
